ABOUT KAZUMI
Women’s life can be a roller coaster. Kazumi is a Japanese who came to Malaysia 25 years ago after quitting a software company in Tokyo. She was living in an organic farm for a decade, then on her turn into midlife, came into learning yoga seeking a natural remedy for depression. Yoga not only provided her the permanent solution to depression, but also opened a new take on life. She completed her first teacher training with an international program accredited by Yoga Alliance and opened Breazy Yoga in Kajang in 2009. In 2008, her neck injury sustained with bad Sirsasana brought her to Iyengar yoga. The therapeutic depth taught by a senior Iyengar teacher awed her, and she began to study Iyengar Yoga with all opportunity available to her. Under guidance of Sri Nandakumar, she has been certified in Iyengar Yoga system since 2014. Her style is intuitive and playful, often using her unique analogy to explain the concepts and actions.
